Day 1: Arrive in Honolulu, Hawaii
Arrive to the island of Oahu where you will receive a warm welcome in the traditional Polynesian way – have your warm greeting (aloha) and a leii of fresh flowers! Your hotel is located in Waikiki, and you may spend the remainder of ths day at leisure, relaxing or exploring the area.
Day 2: Honolulu
At breakfast, meet your tour director and travelng companions. Ask questions about the tour and learn more about the activities that are scheduled for you to enjoy during your stay. For the rest of the day, you may swim, bath, lay in the sun, enjoy water sports, or take walks. There is an optional excursion to the Polynesian Cultural Center where you may see the authentic island’s crafts, as well as historic and cultural pieces of arts. Enjoy a spectacular Polynesian show with more than 100 performers, or an optional sunset cruise along the glittering Waikiki coastline and Diamond Head. The cruise includes dinner and Hawaiian special cocktails. (B)
Day 3: Honolulu
Enjoy the excursion to Pearl Harbor: first, take a tour of the famous Battleship Row and learn about the dramatic air attack of December 7, 1941; visit the USS Arizona and the Memorial dedicated to the 1,102 men; get inside the Museum; visit the Punchbowl National Cemetery with its beautiful views of Honolulu; and later explore such sights as the Hawaii State Capitol, royal “Iolani Palace, the Chinatown, and the statue of Kamehameha the Great.(B,D)
Day 4: Honolulu – Hilo – Hawaii Volcanoes National Park – Kona
In the morning, board a flight to the “Big Island” of Hawaii, where you will visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and the Jaggar Museum dedicated to this famous active volcano: you will see its Crater rising 4,090 feet above a volcanic wonderland of steaming fire pits, lava tubes, and fern forests. After a lunch duriing which you will enjoy the famous Hawaiian sweetbread in Punalu’s Bake Shop, go to Kona where you will spend the next three nights. (B,L)
Day 5: Kona
In the morning you will visit the Coffee Living History Farm in Kona – the working coffee and macadamia nuts farm. Here, you will learn a lot about the history of Kona’s coffee industry. In the evening, visit Luau – here you will learn to hula, try some traditional Hawaiian specialties and, of course, see the breath-taking performances by the Polynesian dancers and musicians.
Day 6: Kona
Spend the day at leisure – relaxing at the pool, enjoying an optional snorkeling cruise to Kealakekua Bay, or going onto the optional helicopter flightseeing excursion. (B)
Day 7: Kona – Maui
In the morning, fly to the “Valley Island” of Maui, from which you will be driven to Iao Valley with its spectacular volcanic spire – Iao Needle. After visiting Lahaina, you will find yourself in Ka`anapali, your home for the next three nights. (B,D)
Day 8: Maui
Spend the day at leisure – either enjoy the day in the sun, or ask the tour director for advice, and he will be happy to assist you with planning your day. For example, you may choose to visit “the Road to Hana” – one of the world’s most impressive drives that has 54 bridges and numerous beautiful waterfalls! Also, if your tour is scheduled in the period from mid-December to mid-April, a humpback whale-watching cruise is available! (B)
Day 9: Maui
Visit the Haleakala National Park – with its famous huge volcanic Haleakala Crater, a.k.a. “the House of the Sun”. In the afternoon, spend the time at leisure and enjoy the wonderful beaches!(B,D)
Day 10: Maui – Kauai
Today, you will enjoy a excursion to Princeville. First, take a scenic flight to the “Garden Isle” of Kauai with its marvellous flora, including hibiscus, orchids, and plumeria. This is where you will feel in the very heart of tropical paradize! After seeing the pretty `Opaeka`a Falls on the Wailua River, have a nice lunch in Princeville, and then continue south to the sunny Poipu Beach and your resort. (B,L)
Day 11: Kauai
Spend the day at leaisure – enjoy the ocean, the beaches, or optional tours with helicopter flighs or visiting Hanalei Valley. (B)
Day 12: Kauai
Today you will take an unforgettable excursion to Waimea Canyon. In the morning you will be driven to Waimea – once the Polynesian capital of Kauai. This is where Captain Cook landed in 1778! See “the Grand Canyon of the Pacific”, Hanapepe Valley, and the largest coffee plantation in Hawaii (Kauai Coffee Company). In the evening, enjoy a special farewell dinner from tour director – you will definitely enjoy the perfect cuisine and good company!(B,D)
Day 13: Kauai
Your vacation will end with a breakfast this morning, and you will be transferred to Lihue Airport to connect with your homebound flight. (B)
