This two-week tour will take you from Seattle to visit some of America’s most exciting places, including Glacier National Park, Hells Canyon, Washington Wine Country, and besides you will cruise Alaska onboard of a luxurious ship!

Alaska Cruise - Glacier National Park, Hells Canyon and Washington Wine Country

Day 1: Arrival to Seattle
At 6 PM your tour will begin in Seattle where you will meet your tour director and traveling companions for a welcome drnk and a nice chat before you start your incredible adventure!

Day 2: Seattle – Leavenworth – Spokane
After leaving Seattle this morning, soon after you will find yourself in the Bavarian village of Leavenworth where you will be able to enjoy some time at leisure, strolling the streets and trying some of the local specialties. After that you will visit Spokane, have a nice walk along the banks of the river, and ride the Gondola Skyride over waterfalls! In the evening, dinner will be served at the traditional Steam Plant Restaurant. (B,D)
Hotel:You will stay in the historic, elegant and luxurious Davenport Hotel (dating back to 1914) – the first hotel in the USA with air-conditioning.

Day 3: Spokane – Sandpoint – Whitefish
Your day will begin from a sightseeing tour of Spokane, where you will visit Riverfront Park, the famous Falls, Manito Park Gardens (where you will admire the Rose Hill Garden, the Japanese Garden, the Duncan Garden). After that, explore the banks of the spectacular looking Priest River, after which you will find yourself in Idaho! Here you will see Sandpoint with its famous galleries and boutiques. Continue to Whitefish in Montana – this place is very close to Glacier National Park, where you will soon have a comprehensive tour with a 3-night stay. (B)

Day 4: Whitefish
On this day you will begin to explore the glorious Glacier National Park! After boarding a famous vintage Red Jammer bus, you will start your exciting adventure into the heart of this spectacular place. After a ride along the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road, you will cross the Logan Pass (which is 6,664-feet high!) – and find yourself in the place full of wonderful alpine scenery, mountains, forests, lakes, and meadows. You will also have a cruise on a wooden boat on Lake McDonald, while your guide is tellng you the stories about the place. In the evening, enjoy a hayride, cowboy sing-along, and even a BBQ at a local ranch! (B,D)

Day 5: Whitefish
Explore the Conrad Manson (built in 1900s) that has been wonderfully preserved, and enjoy a guided tour around the area, from which you will learn about the history and folklore of the place. After that you will take a gondola ride all the way up to the top of the Whitefish Mountain! Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the boutique and galleries of the town, playing golf, or takng a stroll. (B)

Day 6: Whitefish – Wallace – Coeur D’alene
After leaving Whitefish, you will take some glimpses of the Flathead Lake on your way to Wallace. Once you arrive here, you will have a tour into the Sierra Silver Mine, visit the mines under the supervision of an experienced miner, and learn some thrilling facts about the history of mining in this area. After your mining your, you are welcome to visit the Oasis Bordello Museum that was once a brothel. Later, go to explore the beautiful shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene that had been formed millions of years ago by the Ice Age glaciers. Here you may enjoy various outdoor activities, such as skiing, hiking, biking, boating, and many more! (B)

Day 7: Coeur d’Alene – Lewiston. Hells Canyon Cruise
Enjoy a day in the Hells Canyon where the deepest river gorge in North America is located. Hells Canyon is an amazing place on the border of Idaho and Oregon, and it contans more than 200,000 acres of rim-rocks and high mountain peaks. Here you will take a trip up the Snake River, enjoy the tales about the Indians, an even see some petroglyphs that were left by the Nez Perce Indians. Nature lovers will certainly enjoy the finest species of wildlife: from amazing birds and animals to the rare plants. Enjoy a BBQ lunch on the bank of the river during one of the stops! (B,L)

Day 8: Lewiston – Washington Wine Country
In the morning, you will visit the Nez Perce National Historic Park, where you will learn about the life of aboriginal people. After that, cross into the Washington State – the famous producer of the USA wines – and visit the Pataha Flour Mill, meet its inhabitants, and learn about the history of this area. Upon arrival to Washington’s wine country you will also attend a local winery and have an amazing wine-tasting experience! (B,D)

Day 9: Washington Wine Country – Mount Rainier National Park – Seattle
Visit Mount Rainier National Park with its breathtaking views and the famous 14,000-foot peak. In the afternoon come back to Seattle where you will embark on board of cruise ship the morning after! (B,D)

Day 10: Seattle (Embarkation)
Embark Holland America’s MS Amsterdam – and let your exciting cruising adventure begin! (B,D)

Day 11: Scenic Cruising: Gulf of Alaska
Travel the route of Alaska’s Marine Highway – and enjoy the majestic views of the location, with its mountains, forests, peaks, and tidewater glaciers. Here you will be able to spot seals, otters, whales, puffins, and more inhabitants of the Alaska waters! (B,L,D)

Day 12: Tracy Arm (Scenic Cruising)
Exlore Tracy Arm – the narrow, 26-mile-long fjord where the lush rainforest recedes to reveal a stunning canyon of bare rock. You will enjoy the astounding views on the place and, of course, see some more representatives of the local wildlife.(B,L,D)

Day 13: Juneau
Today you will visit Juneau that is one of the most difficult capital cities to access. It is located at the base of two towering mountains in the very heart of Alaska’s Inside Passage. You will see a lot of samples of wildlife here, as well as the places of native culture and history. This place is actually home to Gold Rush! Here you may shop for gold nuggets, and explore the Governor’s Mansion, the Red Dog Saloon, and the impressive Mendenhall Glacier. (B,L,D)

Day 14: Sitka
Sitka is one of the most enchanting places of Alaska – this is a historic port that used to be the capital of Russian America for 100 years. Here you will see the majestic ‘onion’-domed St. Michael’s Cathedral, visit the Sheldon Jackson Museum and admire its Russian and Indian artifacts, and even enjoy a lively performance by the New Archangel Dancers. Day 15: Ketchikan
Today you will get a chance to experience the Native Alaska, view the collection of totems, and… meet the spirits of whale, eagle and raven! There are two parks with such collections – Saxman Totem Park and Totem Bight State Historic Park. Also you will get a chance to explore Creek Street, now home to contemporary art galleries and quaint boutiques. (B,L,D)

Day 16: Victoria
On this day, you will experience a bit of Britain in the Canadian city of Victoria. With the mildest climate in Canada, Victoria is green and beautiful all year round, and it has an abundance of historic, architectural, natural and cultural sights and resources that are worth your attention. Try the traditional Afternoon Tea mixed with the exciting outdoor adventure, world-class culinary experiences, and a vibrant art and culture scene! In Victoria, you can also visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens, amire the Inner Harbour, and sample Canada’s famous brews! (B,L,D)

Day 17: Seattle (Disembarkation)
Your vacation ends with a transfer to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. We kindly ask our customers to schedule their flights after noon. (B)
