See the astounding beaches of Normandy, France, withing just one day! Enjoy all that this area has to offer – from amazing sights to the tasty food.
We will cross the western discticts of Paris and go to Caen so that to arrive there at around 10.15 am – and we will visit the Caen Memorial museum (a.k.a. the Peace Museum) where we will also see a film. After that, enjoy a French gourmet lunch featuring a selection of mouthwatering starters, hot dishes, dessets and, of course, cheeses! Do not forget to taste the famous Bordeaux wine (1 bottle for 4).
After the tasty lunch, we will drive to the Pointe du Hoc – the clifftop where the U.S. rangers landed. A complementary booklet about the battle of Normandy is included into the tour’s price.
We will also visit the American cemetery at Omaha Beach, stop at Arromanches to observe the Gold Beach with one of the two Mulberry Harbours, and continue to the Canadian Memorial of Juno Beach where we will stop to make photos.
We will return to Paris approximately at 9 pm.
