Day 1  Welcome to Costa Rica:  Arrive in San Jose  *  Transfer to Melia Cariari hotel  *  Orientation & welcome dinner  *  1 night at Hotel Boutique Jade 


Day 2-3  Caribbean coast & rain forest:  Travel by boat to Tortuguero, on the Caribbean coast  *  Floating through the rainforest, watch for brilliant toucans, monkeys, caimans, and other wildlife  *  Explore Tortuguero by boat and on foot with naturalist guide  *  2 nights at Evergreen Lodge


Day 4-5  Volcanoes & hot springs:  Visit Mount Arenal, one of the most active volcanoes in the world  *  Get a bird's eye view of the forest from hanging bridges high in the canopy  *  Relax in volcano-heated hot springs *  2 nights at Hotel Arenal Springs (an ideal spot for volcano viewing!)


Day 6-7  Zip-line & farewell:  Don a harness for a thrilling adventure & zip from platform to platform, over the treetops  *  Return to San Jose  *  Farewell dinner with your new friends  * 1 night at Hotel Boutique Jade  *  Transfer back to airport
