Tropical adventure trip for women
Belize reefs & ruins tour
Resources
Weather
Belize has a lovely sub-tropical climate, with moderate temperatures year round.
The dry season is December through May, and this is when most tourists visit the
country. Of course, even in the dry season, expect to see some rain -- a necessary
ingredient for a rain forest! Occasional chilly "northers" can blow through
between December and February. By March when we visit, average highs are about
80 degrees, and it's the driest time of year.
The rainy season is June through November. This time of year there are frequent
afternoon showers. Hurricanes are most active July to October. Though hurricanes
don't often hit Belize, they've had some devastating strikes in the past.

covers sponges, crabs, starfish - all those marine creatures besides fish.

US Foreign Service, assigned to the backwater British colony of British Honduras (now Belize).
