Ambergris Caye - Paradise Villas (2 nights)
The villas are on the island of Ambergris Caye, near the north end of San Pedro.  These are townhouse apartments, right by the ocean and there's also a fresh water pool. There's a 150-ft pier for swimming and fishing, with a well-established artificial reef, and superb snorkel sites nearby.

Pook's Jungle Lodge (2 nights)
This small lodge has thatched roof cabanas set in a lushly forested nature preserve, on the grounds of a small Mayan ruins. Activities include hiking, nature walks, and swimming or tubing in the river. The lantern-lit dining area serves Caribbean food, and there's an open-air bar/veranda.

Lamanai Outpost (2 nights)
This rustic yet comfortable lodge is far away from modern life, near the Mayan ruins of Lamanai. Spacious rooms have thatched roofs, ceiling fans and balcony or veranda. You'll find hammocks, swimming and sunbathing dock, restaurant, and bar with happy hour.
