2.5 Hours of the Montjuïc & Panoramic Tour in Barcelona

This exciting tour will enable you to see two areas of natural beauty in Barcelona - one of the most interesting European destinations.
Enjoy the spectacular views over the Waterfront (with its Port and Columbus Monument) and the Montjüic Hill (where you will get the chance to see the Olympic Ring and visit the charming Spanish Village!)

The Waterfront is an exciting combination of the ancient and the modern: it has the Old Port with its Dock warehouses and the Gothic Drassanes (shipyards) that have been preserved and incorporated into a completely re-built recreational area that boasts the modern Aquarium, the World Trade Centre, and of course a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and cinemas!

Montjuïch Hill will enchant you with its art galleries, multiple parks, museums. There is also the 1992 Olympic Ring of sports stadiums from which you will get a wonderful perspective over the city.

During this tour you will also visit the charming Spanish Village, with the free time for lunch.

Here are some of the most prominent locations you will be able to see during this tour:

WATERFRONT:
Old Port: The Old Port is separated from the Olympic Port by long beaches, and it extends the city centre down the Rambla into the harbour. This place is always full of hustle and bustle, with a lot of shops, restaurants, night clubs, etc.

Columbus Monument that was built in 1888 to honor the great explorer. It is loated right at the foot of the famous Rambla.

MONTJUÏC HILL:

Mirador de l’Alcalde (the Mayor’s Lookout) is a terrace/balcony over the Mediterranean that has an excellent views over the whole city including harbors.
Your bus will drop you here so that you can get the best viewpoints.

Olympic Ring is a complex of sports facilities of the 1992 Olympic Games which inludes the Stadium, the St. Jordi sports pavilion (built by Arata Isozaki), the INEF (by Ricardo Bofill), and the Calatrava Communications Tower.
