11-Day Italy, Switzerland, and France Tour Package (Paris Departure)


This 11 days tour will take you to some of the most interesting corners of the 'old' Europe that is rich in history and full of unique artefacts. Starting from Paris, you will explore Europe with all the pleasure and comfort you can wish for.
Day 1: Hometown - Paris

You will be picked up from the airport (CDG or ORY) at the luggage claim area from 7:00am till 10:00pm and transferred to your hotel where you will check in. If you arrive at some other time please arrange your transfer by yourself.

NOTE:
The wait time to pick-up guests at the airport is 1 1/2 hours. If you fail to appear at the luggage claim area within that period of time (beginning from your confirmed arrival), the driver has the right to leave without notifying the guests. If the driver is requested to return to the airport to pick-up guests, there will be an additional fee. Please notify the local provider of transfer if there are any flight delays so that to avoid additional airport transfer service fees.

Day 2: Paris - Versailles - Paris
Enjoy the amazing sightseeing tour around Paris with a visit to Versailles. You will see the Arc de Triomphe, drive along the Champs Elysees, visit the Place de la Concorde, as well as the Hotel des Invalides with the Tombean de Napoleon 1, and stop for taking photos at the Eiffel Tower. After that, embark on an exciting Seine Cruise during which you will be able to observe Notre Dame Cathedral and Pont Alexandre III. After the end of the cruise you will be driven to the glorious Palace of Versailles built by Louis XIII and updated and developed by Louis XIV that served as the residence of the royal family in 1722-1789.

Day 3: Paris
Visit The Louvre in the morning - and enjoy the magnificent collection of arts, including the works of Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace, and of course Leonardo da Vinci's 'Mona Lisa'. Have lunch at the Place d' Italie, followed by the time at leisure for you to do some sightseeing, walking and shopping.

Day 4: Paris - Lucerne (650km)
Our luxurious coach will take you to the mountainous Switzerland - and during the ride you will have a chance to enjoy the picturesque countryside locations, including Basel at the borders of Switzerland, France and Germany. You will arrive to Lucerne that is located at the foot of the snowcapped Swiss Alps where you will see Chapel Bridge, the Water Tower, and some wonderfully preserved Baroque and Gothic architecture. You will spend the night either inn Lucerne or in a nearby town.

Day 5: Lucerne - Milan - Verona - Venice (200km)
You will be taken all the way across the spectacular Switzerland to northern Italy, with a first stop in Milan - the fashion capital of the world. Enjoy a tour around the city and see the vast Gothic cathedral (Duomo) and La Scala opera house. And of course do some shopping in the 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II! Not far from Milan there is Verona - here you will have a walking tour and see some of its highlights, including the home of Romeo and Juliet and Juliet’s balcony. After that head to Venice, the most romantic city ever!

Day 6: Venice - Rome (550km)
Explore the amazing city of Venice starting from a waterbus ride to San Marco Island where you will see the Basilica di San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs, the Doge’s Palace, and the quarters with the traditional Murano glass. You will have a chance to ride through the warren of waterways on a gondola. Have some time at leisure, after which you will be transferred to Rome in the afternoon.

Day 7: Rome - Vatican - Florence (280km)
Visit Vatican City that lies at the heart of Rome and have a look at such treasures as 1,700 years old St Peter’s Basilica with a bewildering collection of paintings, frescoes and the amazing design. There is also an optional Sistine Chapel tour during which you may view Michaelangelo’s famous painted ceiling. Also enjoy Trevi Fountain, the lavish Baroque showpiece. After lunch, continue touring Rome, including an optional guided tour of the Coliseum built in AD72, Arch of Constantine, and the time at leisure. Late in the evening you will be transferred to Florence.

Day 8: Florence - Pisa - Genoa (250km)
Explore the amazing city of Florence - the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and home to some fabulous architecture and fine art. Take a spectacular tour around the city starting from Piazzale Michelangelo - and go around this great city with its red roofs, Arno river, ancient walls, traditional leather craft workshops, and marvel at some of the country's main highlights inluding the Ponte Vecchio over the Arno, the Piazza del Duomo and Campanile Tower. You will also visit the Uffizi Gallery containing one of the most notable art collections in Florence. Surely you will be allowed the time at leisure during which you may continue to explore the city, do some shopping, photographing, etc. Also you will visit Pisawith its iconi Leaning Tower, the famous bell tower in the ‘Square of Miracles’, the centuries-old cathedral and baptistry. You will be transferred to San Remo or a city nearby for the overnight stay.

Day 9: Genoa - Monaco - Nice - Cannes - Avignon (450km)
As you leave Italy and head for Monaco, you will enjoy a breathtaking drive along one of Europe’s most famous stretches of Mediterranean coastline. And when in Monaco, do not miss out for the famous Monte-Carlo casino, and surely you should take a walking sightseeing tour that will take you to the grand Prince’s Palace, the 1920s Courthouse, the cliffside Oceanographic Museum, and the cathedral where Grace Kelly is buried. After that, visit the famous Fragonard Perfume Factory and learn about how the perfumes are made. After a lunch in Nice, you will be taken to Cannes and see the Palais des Festival where the annual international film festival is held. Tonight you will spend the night in Avignon or a city nearby.

Day 10: Avignon - Paris (700km)
Enjoy the amazing road views of the French countryside while driving north to Paris.

Day 11: Paris - Hometown
You will be transferred to Paris CDG or ORY airport, and return home. We recommend you to book flights departing after 11:00am.
