1-Day Martha's Vineyard Tour from Boston

Explore some of America's most famous vineyards, learn about the history of the area, see amazing houses, beaufitul cottages and unique sights - all during one day!
At 7am you will leave from Boston and head towards Woods Hole, from which a ferry will take you to Martha's Vineyard where you will attend the camping meeting association and get a chance to observe more than 300 amazing old cottages of the Victorian epoch that were built from 1864-1875. There is also an iron "Tabernacle" located in the center of "Trinity Park," where religious meetings are held in summer. After that have a day at leisure and explore the six towns located on the island!

You may choose to sign up for a local sightseeing tour, rent a Scooter ride, or take walks. Here are the sights you might be interested in:

Aquinnah - The Gay Head Cliff. It rises 150 feet above the ocean and has the most breathtaking view on the entire island. From here you will be able to observe the Elizabeth Islands, Norman Island, Cape Cod, and Vineyard Sound.

Edgartown - the county seat of Dukes County with its grand white Greek revival houses. This is a seaport village that has been preserved from the early 19th century.

Oak Bluffs - a resort town noted for its "gingerbread cottages" and other well-preserved late-nineteenth-century buildings.

Marthas Vineyard, MA - this largest island has spectacular beaches, grand mansions, wonderful restaurants and shops.
