Just got some updates from Yacht Promenade in the British Virgin Islands, and it looks like the Adventurous Wenches aboard right now are having a fine time. They broke out the power lounger at White Bay, one of the loveliest spots in the BVI.

Power lounging in the British Virgin Islands
.
OK, “loveliest spots in the BVI” is kind of a hard call to make - there are many beautiful spots, but this one has to be right up there — the water at White Bay is amazing!
What you don’t see in the picture, is that these ladies ALREADY:
* Went snorkeling at the Caves at Norman Island,
* Sailed over to Jost Van Dyke,
* Got in some beach and hammock time over on the island,
* Checked out the infamous Soggy Dollar Bar,
* Had a shrimp and salad lunch on board,
… and THEN retired to the power lounger with banana painkillers!
I’d say they deserve it after such a strenuous day.

My husband and I loved snorkeling the caves and would agree with you that White Bay is among the best spots in the BVI. Unfortunately, we missed the banana painkillers; we will have to try those next time.

Enticing, both in words and pictures. Makes me want to walk away from this computer and the overcast sky I see out my office window, and join the Adventurous Wenches in that blue water and enjoy one of those banana painkillers. I’ll follow this story.

Oh my goodness, that clear blue water just looks wonderful, I’m so jealous.

Darlene - I haven’t had the banana painkillers either. Looks like we both have a reason we simply must go back, right?
Jane & Redroot - I agree completely — I can practically feel that blue water. It’s calling me! Wait… shoot… now I’m back at my desk again.

I obviously have not lived an adventurous enough life… what the heck is a power lounger?

Cindy - A power lounger is the floating toy in the picture. It’s basically a super-sized floating toy, that lets a whole bunch of people float around — kind of like a floating cocktail party, where you can jump in for a swim anytime you want.

That looks like so much fun. The warm weather looks especially nice since it is snowing here today. Ugh!

British Virgin Islands - Power lounging at White Bay…
Gorgeous! Lounging around at anchor in the Virgin Islands, on a sailing vacation. Now this is the life. :-)…

Ah- Yes- power lounging on White Bay. I was one of the power loungers in this picture. The banana painkillers were delicious, The Soggy Dollar and Ivan’s Stress Free Bar were a must see. What you don’t know is the very intimate conversation that was occuring on the lounger with new friends already on day two of the trip. What happens in BVI - stays in BVI!

Clara - How nice to hear from one of the power loungers in person!
It sure looked like you were having a fine time out there, and now you’ve added another unseen dimension (and raised our curiosity levels too!). Happy holidays!
